Our server was friendly and the food was very good. The warm sourdough bread was delicious and the bean dip was really good. The view is cool looking out at the Sac River. You can see boats going by. Very nice atmosphere for dining. Cool spot for sure.

We have a great time, taste a few dishes we started with the calamary,peel and eat shrimp and the ceviche for my main course i get the cajun sturgeon served with rice and vegetables great taste, crab cakes were good and hot and spicy shrimp were my least favorite overall every thing was good taste. Service was amazing, Luis was very attentive and promptly attended all our requests .

Patio dog friendly but we were there on a hot day and it was a little uncomfortable. The food was delicious. We got new menu items- the tropical salad and Cuban sandwich. Both very good!!

Long story short: good food, good service, good vibes.

I found this place to be quite delightful! Was recommended the Virgin Sturgeon by a few folks as I travelled into town and, given the name, had to check it out! They don’t take reservations, but at 6:30 on a Wednesday I was sat right away and even got a seat outside. The river backdrop is peaceful and the atmosphere was immediately friendly. The drinks are reasonably priced - $9 for a glass of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay - and the menu has options for just about everyone. I ended up with the ribeye and was delighted to learn they had thousand island dressing for my starter salad. My only qualm of the evening was that my steak was a bit overcooked, but the flavor was so good I didn’t even mention it to the server. Service in the deck was a bit slow, but I was looking for a slow dinner, so it worked just fine for me. I can’t emphasize enough how friendly the staff and other customers were! The next time I’m in town I’ll make this place a priority!

This is a historic Sacramento bar with a lot of character! The bartenders are great and the view is pretty unique. It’s fun to go down the old airport gate to the restaurant on the river

This place is always amazing even on a super busy Fathers Day. We waited about 30 minutes and the service was 5⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ as always. Try this place and you won’t be disappointed.

Great service, fun atmosphere and beautiful view of the river. All things that you / one could love in one place.

I initially came here years ago when traveling from Reno to San Francisco. My friends and I wanted to find something on the river and out of downtown Sacramento.

I think I was turned onto this place the most about the jet bridge entry way (the one used when you board a plane).

The seating on the river has a lot of flies and various small insects but that comes with being on a river. No fault on the restaurant.

I’d recommend to others and look forward to returning here soon.
